A Phone Scammer Is Trying to Hijack Your Computer

The phone rings. A polite, professional voice announces that your computer has been compromised — there are viruses, hackers, or suspicious activity detected by "Microsoft" or "Apple." All you need to do is let them help. It sounds reasonable. It is anything but.

Tech support phone scams have quietly become one of the most lucrative fraud operations in the world. The script is simple, the results are devastating, and the victims are overwhelmingly ordinary people who simply trusted the wrong caller. READ…

Who's Checking the Fact-Checkers? AP's Climate Bias

When the Associated Press puts out a “fact check,” it’s easy for millions to take it as gospel. The AP has been around for over a century, known for being neutral, thorough and reliable. So, when the director of climate news at the wire service says that President Trump made “false claims” about climate change at the United Nations, readers expect to hear the real story from someone who’s not biased. They're not. And the AP practically admits it — buried at the bottom of every climate story, in small print, is a disclosure that deserves to be in the headline. READ…

When the Alarm Bells Ring: Who's Really in Control?

On May 16, 2026, the World Health Organization declared the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo a “Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC).” Within 48 hours of the announcement, international agencies were mobilizing funding, cross-border screening protocols were being activated, and governments across East Africa were implementing emergency preparedness measures.

BBC Media Bias: How Neutral Reporting Shapes Your Views

A BBC article about the Trump–Xi summit is a great example of how modern journalism can seem fair while subtly guiding readers to a certain view.

At first glance, the article looks calm, professional and based on facts. There aren’t any obvious insults, emotional outbursts or clear political statements. But what’s really going on is a narrative that seems neutral, but is actually shaping how we see things. READ…

Canadian Sovereignty: Who Really Controls Canada's Future?

Canada stands at a crossroads that few citizens fully recognize. Behind the headlines, slogans, and carefully managed political messaging lies a deeper question: what does sovereignty actually mean in the modern age? Is it merely a flag, a border, and a national anthem — or does true sovereignty require control over laws, resources, institutions, culture, and the future direction of a nation itself?

Are Your Global Standards Consistent? Take the Test

The real question isn’t which country you support, it’s about consistent values, even when it challenges your own side. If your standards change depending on who you’re evaluating, you don’t have principles—you have preferences. This “scorecard” is designed to move the conversation away from emotional “sides” to consistent principles.

CBC—Public Broadcaster or a Government Propagandist

Public broadcasters exist in many democracies. Britain has the BBC. The United States has PBS and NPR. Canada has the CBC. The idea behind these institutions is simple: provide journalism that is independent of corporate interests and serves the public good. But there’s an unavoidable tension built into that model. When a news organization receives the majority of its funding from the government it covers, can it truly remain independent? That question has been debated in Canada for decades.

2016―Donald Trump Beat Hillary Clinton to Become President

This clip from Fahrenheit 11/9, Michael Moore’s controversial political documentary, serves as more than cinematic storytelling — it functions as a striking reminder of how public perception can be shaped, manipulated, and ultimately overturned. The opening sequence illustrates a moment many viewers overlooked at the time: the confident certainty of political insiders, media commentators, and party elites who assumed the outcome of the 2016 U.S. election was predetermined.

Bill C-15 and the Quiet Expansion of Ministerial Power

A proposed change to the Red Tape Reduction Act is buried in Division 12 of Part 5. It sounds harmless enough on the surface: reduce regulatory burdens to spur innovation and economic growth. Who could argue?

But the how matters. Ministers will be able to grant exemptions to laws for up to three years, with possible extension, to selected “entities”. The only clear exclusion is the Criminal Code. Think about that for a moment.

Why is Mark Carney Interested In Importing Cheap Chinese EVs?

Mark Carney's plans to help Canadians struggling financially, by allowing China to export up to 49,000 EVs into Canada at a much lower tariff than 100%—6%. He claims this will make EVs cheaper to buy and encourage China to make some in Canada. Maybe.

However, stacked against Carney’s bigger claims—job creation, protecting workers, economic unity, and national security—the rationale falls apart fast. READ…

Does Canadian Press Serve The Public?

When people read the news online or in their morning paper, they often don’t realize how much of that information comes from a single source: The Canadian Press (CP). It’s one of the country’s most important news agencies, but it’s also a privately held corporation. So the natural question is: who does it really serve—its owners or the Canadian public?

Let's Juxtapose

‍The decisions made in Ottawa aren’t abstract. They affect our grocery bills, housing costs, taxes, safety, energy prices, and the future opportunities of our children and grandchildren. With that kind of responsibility, clarity isn’t optional — it’s essential.

‍It’s a sharp observation — that some people can speak beautifully, confidently, even smoothly, but when you step back and ask, “What are you actually here to do?” the answer is unclear. READ…

Trump’s Opponents Exhibit A Distinctive Type Of Madness

Trump’s political opponents exhibit a distinctive type of madness never before seen in the USA. Here are, thanks to the Whitehouse, 57 examples of madness in the minds of Americans who call themselves progressives.

President Donald Trump promised he would deal with the problems created by the ridiculous open border policy implemented by his predecessor, Joe Biden. He is succeeding in spite of these morons fighting him at every turn with irrational words and thoughts. READ…

Minnesota―What Is It Good For?

Minnesota is like the canary in the coal mine, an early warning for the majority of Americans who love the country. Minnesota’s decision to replace its long-standing state flag reflects a growing tendency to rewrite history rather than confront it. While supporters of the change frame it as progress, the redesign represents a break from historical continuity and an unnecessary rejection of the state’s heritage.

"Climate Change" Is Contrived.

The climate change narrative has always seemed to me to be contrived. The idea that life changing pronouncements could be made, about a topic as complex as Earth’s climate, because a small group of people agreed that “the science” was settled. This narrative triggered countries to spend trillions, to pass intrusive laws and regulations, and to stifle any alternative scientific evidence.

Liars Lie

Unfortunately, detecting lies is much more complicated. Liars’ give themselves away by gestures, phrases, small shifts in behaviour, language, and emotion that don’t quite line up. Liars offer answers that are strangely vague or overly detailed. Their stories change slightly when retold. They may dodge direct questions. Saying “to be honest” or “as far as I know” signal distancing, especially when they appear suddenly. Long pauses before simple answers hint at obfuscation rather than truth.

Actors Apologize On Camera For Their Racism Towards Blacks

In a video, many actors say they were racists for various acts such as laughing at an inappropriate joke about a black person or didn’t do anything when someone said something insulting about a black person. They all apologize on camera.

These are personal situations we have all faced and we deal with them in our own way. What makes this video so revolting is the actors are doing what they are trained to do. It’s obvious they are reading the lines off a teleprompter or a script. I call that propaganda. READ…

Women Are From Venus, Men Are From Mars

The phrase “Women are from Venus, Men are from Mars” comes from the popular 1992 book by John Gray. It is a metaphor that suggests men and women often think, communicate, and respond to situations differently, almost as if they came from different planets.

The idea is not that men and women are literally different species, but that they may have different approaches to emotions, relationships, and problem-solving. READ…

Where Were You When John F. Kennedy Was Assassinated

President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963. I was thirteen years old at the time.

My family had just moved to a new city, and I had just started high school. Everything in my world felt new and unsettled — new streets, new faces, new routines, and that strange feeling you get when you’re trying to find your place in a place that doesn’t yet feel like yours. And then history punched through all of it. READ…
